Peggy: Just started using KO and so far the reults are great.. Question: The head pump is a little stiff. Can I use a head lube such as the west product with the KO? Gene

Super Lube or Sea Lube are teflon grease,

which is the only thing that should be used to lubricate marine toilets. It does little good to just squirt some in the bowl, though...the innards of the pump should be slathered liberally with it. If you do it as part of spring recommissioning, you should be good for the season.

Peggy: then why doesn't KO work for me?

Read all your posting here for years and respect your opinions/advice, but: I have a new (to me) '93 37.5 and I've tryed KO now through several tanks. Whenever someone flushes the head, the odor from the holding tank will nearly kill you. I've flushed the tank thoroughly when I got the boat 2 months ago, and I pump out regularly (every 2 weeks.) The vent seems to work fine ('cuz the odor will nearly kill you.) What else can you suggest? Is KO compatible with the 37.5 series boat?

KO does not work if you don't have enough air.

Don: I tried KO too and think the problem is that there is not enough oxygen. I have been using Odorloss. Works OK, but you just need to add more if you don't pump out on a regular basis.
