I recently purchased a 1987 Hunter Legend 45'. she was left out of the water and unused for two years. After rudder repair and a new shaft I set her back in her element. I found the aft holding tank had ruptured so I removed it and refabbed one out of stainless. I don't know how the forward head is set up? is there a tank under the V line locker, is it integral with the hull? I also noticed that forward of the tank there seems to be a bit of improper set up. I find water up there, or what I think is water from time to time with no explanation? Could the tank be leaking into this forward compartment?
