I have been experiencing a problem with the door handle to the head on my Legend 1992 Legend 35.5. When I took the mechanism apart I realized that the reason that the catch would not extend is that there is a broken spring in the meachnism. I have checked around from boat shops to general hardware stores and have yet to find a comparable spring. Has anyone got advice on where I might find this?

I had the same issue and contacted the folks at Hunter. They promptly sent me a couple of those springs...no charge

Buying odd parts for these handle is almost impossible. I found the only solution to a broken part was to but a new handle, the up side to this was that now everything in the lock is new and will give me years of trouble free use. Do yourself a favour and buy a new lock.
