I am replacing the discharge piping in my '94 Hunter Vision 32. After 5 years, the white plastic hose recommended by my local boat store is apparently giving off odours. I am considering AVS96, based on its superior claims, but am also considering using schedule 40 1.5" ABS plumbing with some mechanical joint elbows where flexibility is required. It appears that the ABS will be no more difficult to install, will cost less, is readily available and will have long life. Please give me your thoughts on this or other piping options.
