I played hooky from work today and was in the mouth of the Severn River which for you non-locals is Annapolis. Guess who goes sliding by, the Hunter HC50 with Steve Pettengill, running around. Do you keep your boat in Annapolis? That's a pretty long haul from Great Falls (I used to live in Gaithersburg). How is the cruising on the upper Bay these days? Many years ago I worked on a couple of bridge and marina projects on the Bay north of Baltimore, and I have always wanted to go back and cruise the area. It must be great now that the leaves are turning. It's still hot and rainy down here, another tropical storm is brewing in the Gulf and the real sailing season doesn't start for another month or so.
