Have you seen this boat

My grandfather built this boat in the late 1940's. it was last seen restored in 2001 in the Vancouver harbour. I have searched the registries with no luck. Hoping to find someone who has seen it or know where it is moored so I can contact the marina or owner. I have attached a restored photo. My avatar is a picture of my grandfather sailing along the west coast of British Columbia.

Here is what Canadian vessel registry showed:
SILHOUETTE II (O.N. 178850)
This vessel is no longer registered in Canada. For further information contact the nearest vessel registry office.
Date of closing: May 6, 2005.

2005 is not all that far back. I would contact registry office and get name & info about last owner who had it registered. Perhaps contacting him would provide leads. Good luck

Could you give a bigger picture of the boat in question, I have seen one like this in the Portland Harbor, but I would like to see it better before I get any more hope up in the wind., contact me with a bigger image to be sure
