Hauling a wing keel

I am planning to haul my newly acquired wing keel 88 C30 soon, and wonder if there is any special treatment needed by the yard. I have no previous experiance with a wing, but have much with a convential keel.I have the the builders hauling plan to give to the travellift operator. But is there anything to watch for in setting the keel on the ground? Will it take all the weight of the boat exactly like a conventional keel? Is there any chance of damaging the wings? Should there be any special blocking under the keel? Should the poppits take any weight? Paint the bottom of the keel when lifted to launch? I'm planning to use a very small yard, and not counting on them to have wing keel experiance. I've sailed the boat about ten times so far, and like it more each time. Godd sailing Ron B

No other things to worry about. Block the keel, ready to go. Have the travel lift haul you up late afternoon before launch the next day so you can get two coats of paint on the bottom of the wing keel.
