Hunter Marine Customer Service
Dittos here. My first experience was while we were in the process of purchasing our 1991 P42 in 2002. I learned from this site about an electrical recall for certain hull numbers. HMCS confirmed that our new boat was eligible; all I had to do was have our certified yard technicians do the repairs and submit all receipts directly to them for reimbursement no questions asked.
Many times since I've asked for their help; rudder bearing tolerance and replacement, mid ship cleat install, standing rigging design, inverter replacement, etc. I've dealt with hundreds of manufacturers and dealers over the years and they are on my top five list of first class quality service providers.
One other marvelous experience was several years ago when our Heart inverter 1600 was nearing its end of life. I posted an article on this site about my plans to replace it with an Xantrex Freedom 20. Shortly after posting the article I received an unsolicited e-mail directly from Eddie at HMCS recommending that I purchase the Freedom 25 instead. He said that Hunter determined that the larger inverter was more battery friendly. I took his advice and he was spot on. Now that is what I call quality customer service.
