Hatches???

Its just too cold to go out there an tinker with the new old boat today. Som I am looking for replacment parts. Does anyone know what the cutout sizes for the to roof hatches are. One looks to be about 16" by 16", but I havent taken it out yet. The forward hatch is made out of wood, either aftermarket or prior owner and looks to be around 24" square. Any help would be appreciated. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!

replace hatch or lens?

I just replaced one of the lenses in my hatches. The forward hatch was leaking and I pulled the lens to rebed only to discover it was cracked. A quick trip to plastic shop got a new lens (thick acrylic instead of thin polycarbonate) for $30. It looks so good, I may do the other lenses as well.(A new hatch is probably $200)

I thought about just replacing the lens, but after building new companionway doors, repairing all the cabinet doors, and drawers, and ripping the whole interior out to boot, $200.00 for a new hatch doesn't seem all that bad
