I was looking to replace my front hatch because of storm damage and I came up with building a frame 1 and 1/2 inches high and using a Lewmar Ocean 70 hatch all of this was not cheap with the hatch, lumber and hardware it was about $800 and I was a little leery at first but it came out pretty good. The frame actully surrounds the lipped opening on the deck. I used plastic board for the frame, it was as easy to work with as wood. I am very happy with the results. I tryed to attach pictures but it didn`t work so if anybody needs more info let me know.

It would be good to have the pictures here for future reference. What can we do to help?

I am not that familiar with the H25. But what happened to the hatch? Was the frame damaged so that you could not just replace the Lexan?
