I'm looking for original foward hatch replacement for my 1987 28.5. Can anybody offer suggestions or contacts.Thank you

You need the cut out size 20"x20". Small hatch cut out size is 10"x10". The level of quality is based upon your pocketbook. When you remove the old hatch don't be suprised at the lack of close tolerances with the cut out.

No OEM

You won't find the OEM hatch available anymore, you will have to re-fit a new replacement.

Bomar

Bought a replacement forward hatch from Pompanette/Bomar a few weeks ago direct from them. The hatch fit in the original opening perfectly on my 1985 28.5. I ordered the G995--2122 hatch. Even though the sizes listed on the web site didn't match to my measurements exactly, when I got the hatch it matched the dimension of my old hatch almost exactly. Don't take my word for it that the above model will fit. Take measurements of your hatch and proceed accordingly.
