Hi I have a Hunter 31 1984. Does anyone know where I can get new gaskets for the top and vee berth hatches?
Thanks
Keith

I bought replacement gasketing material at West Marine. It is U shaped with the curved portion going down into the trough. The flat portion goes on top and seals against the hatch cover Lexan/Lucite, etc. Check the total length of each and have that info on hand when you buy the gasketing. They come in specific length. It was just a little more length than I needed on my 1990 H-33.5. I did the 2 Gull Wing Hatches and the Vee Berth Hatch.

Usually one identifies the hatch manufacturer as gaskets do differ. If you are talking about an aluminum hatch with Lexan in the lid, then you should look for the brand and then contact them for the proper gasket, or if you have a chandlery near you that is worth anything, they can order it up for you if they don't stock it (or the Hunter dealer should stock it to satisfy their customers).

Gasket material

If your hatches are like those on my Vision 32, the hatch is actually built into the deck, then a u shaped gasket seals the plexiglass lid.

I bought mine and many other things from McMaster-Carr on line.
