The forward hatch and lazarette hatches have high density rubber-like gaskets.
They appear to serve two purposes; one, to seal against water entry - the other, to cushion the lid from the hull flanges they're designed to rest on.
All three are in various stages of decay. They also appear to have been identical in form; that being: 1-1/4" wide x 1/2" thick.
Regular weather stripping can fit, but doesn't have the density to support the hatch properly IMO. Enter Home Depot SKU # 228154
Next time I'm near the HD, I'll scope this stuff out. On line, it looks perfect
But in-hand will tell. I'll keep you posted.
