Man it's been a blast this year. As mentioned in earlier posts, I purchased the boat last December, splashed it in February and have been sailing the Crystal Coast (day sails) all year and in all kinds of conditions. I've learned alot, but always learning more:)

Last month, the center hatch's frame cracked and I've been trying to find a replacement. It looks like the opening is 13" X 17 5/8". Does any one know where I can find information on the original hatch (manufacturer) so I can get a replacement? If not, it looks like I'm going to have to find a similar sized one (oversized) and increase the size of the opening.

Thanks for all of the advise this year!

Lots of views without an answer. I suggest a photo. I presume you cracked the frame of the forward hatch? There are a number of hatch manufacturer's out there, so I suggest you look for a standard sized Lewmar, Bomar etc...

This is a photo of a Helms 24. Is this correct? Is it the forward hatch or the one on the cabin top in front of the mast? If the later, it looks like a standard hatch from one of the big manufacturer's. Download a catalog and shop dimensions.

Re: Photo

A Bomar 927 might fit. About $200-250. I'm sure Phil can hook you up.

Thanks BobM, the hatch I'm referring to is the one on top of the cabin next to the mast.
