This decal is on my 1978 30' Hunter Cherubini. The one on the boat is all faded so I'm thinking about making a new decal. I was just curious to know if this decal is the correct one for this model.

This is taken from the Hunter Brochure; see attached.

That is what my 1980 Hunter 30 has, also badly faded. I'd like to replace them with the same design.

You should be able to take that design to your local sign shop. Ask for RTA vinyl lettering (12 year), give them your desired measurement, and they should have it back to you in a day or so.
I used Signs By Tomorrow (Baltimore) for my boat lettering, and was very happy with the results.

Thank you all and here's a bonus. I'm a graphic designer so here it is: the Hunter logo with Cherubini. Use the PDF file and you can remove the Cherubini if you wish and use only the Hunter logo. Any sign shop can do this for you. Enjoy, and if you use it, just post a picture of it here.

Nice job, Joel!

I guess that Hunter must have been keeping the graphic designers busy, back in the day. Here is yet another variation from my 1983 Hunter 37 Cutter. I removed all the vinyl stripes and the logo to repaint the blue; I have not yet figured how or if I will replace the logo...

I think it would be interesting to put together a visual history of the Hunter logo with all it's variations. After all, it's been 40 years! I think I'll work on that.
