I'm looking for a dodger for my Hunter 23.5. They do nnot list one as available for the 23.5 in the Hunter canvas shop. Does anyone know where I might get one made? The boat is in Ocean City MD. Is it going to cost me $1200? Does anyone have any ideas to protect the companion way and the pilot other than a dodger? Thanks Hayden

Make One

You can get what you need at Sailrite and build one yourself. It is easy. I built mine on my H37C from scratch for about$150.00 .. Sailrite has kits if you want to go that way and they have a GREAT video that walks you through every step of the way. I did all the canvas on my boat for about $400.00 Look in the photo album here on HOW (37-cutter) and check out Talisman or Ron Pearson... If you need help, let me know. Ron

What about the camper top that IS available?

I'm not sure of your objectives . . .the camper top sort-of does the same thing. I'll conceed that it was not designed to be in place when sailing. . .It blocks one's vision, but it could be modified. . .

Camper top is perfect and affordable

For nine years I have used the camper top for the dual purpose of dodger and camper top and it has been a great match. I had a 23.5 and now a 240 and with my new boat I am continuing to use the camper top for the dual purpose..Happy sailing

HOW chandlrey

The chandlrey is a good place to get one which is made by Ameriseam. Get the one with the screened windows and screen door. Crazy Dave Condon
