I just bought a Mac 19 and don't like the way it trims (bow stays too high with motor in lowest tilt position). Has anyone added a "whale tail" (Doel-fin, ...etc) to the cavitation plate on the motor. I've had mixed results with these on other boats depending on the height of the motor, horsepower and weight of the boat. I have the standard 40HP Tohatsu. Any experiences, recommendations, ...etc are appreciated. Thanks.
