I'm thinking about installing a Harken Single Line Reefing System on my H23. If you need to remove 2 slugs in order to attach the ring to the rams horn on the current system, what do you do if you want to reef from the cabin top without going out on the cabin top to remove the slugs? I thought about installing a removable plate with a slot the same width as the rest of the mast over the wider part of the slot. This would keep the slugs from falling out when I reef. I wouldn't be using the rams horn. If any of you installed one of these on your H23, I would like to know how you solved the problem or if you have any other ideas. I want to keep things easy and simple when I operate the boat alone. Thanks Lee
