Harken Magic Box

Has anyone used a "Harken Magic Box" with a cunningham (see link below)? Looks like an interesting idea (my little 1:1 line with a hook in the cunningham cringle doesn't cut it). Thanks for any insight.... Trevor

Years ago when I raced small one designs I had a magic box that was used to tension the jib halyard. It worked great.

I agree with Sean. they're great for fine tune on a halyard or luff. I wouldn't go to the expense on the cunningham adjustment though. I have 6:1 adjustment on my 30' and its more than enough. It also has more than 15" of adjustment/travel, which comes in handy when you have to shake in a reef.
