Harken Jib Furler

C & L Boatworks Sandpiper 565 Erieau Marina, Lake Erie
I just bought a Sandpiper 565. It has a jib furler attached to the forestay with a turnbuckle and a small shackle. How do I hook it up to the jib and hoist it? The furler is a 00 size and there is enough lanyard cleating off by the starboard jibsheet clamcleat. Any advice is appreciated! I'd also like to get in touch with other Sandpiper owners regarding rigging and maintenance. Thanks!

Does your jib have the forestay sewn in? If so, you attach it all then raise the mast & attach the furling drum at the stem fitting.
