Sam;
It took me a while how to respond but Oh, nailed that Kermit frog. Now I have to go see him shortly. I am thinking of that bear scat in the yard to take to him.

Here is what it looks like on my cabin top. The issue with removing anything currently there is they cam cleat will need to ne perpendiuclasr to that ever I remove. I thought about mounting it to stasrboard then maount ing starbair to the cabing top BUT....

My current thought is to get starboard and attach it to the inside of the stanchion support and mount cam cleat to the starboard
how well are the stanchion supports mounted

OR
next to the rope clutch there is a small cleat remove that put cam cleat on starboard and mount it there

I'd check the south side of that pond he lives on first, appears to have had at least 30 knots the other day. Oh yeah, better bring a flashlight.
Yep. Bring a flashlight and ice. Still no power here. (Yep I know that's not what you meant.)

Instead of individual photos how about a full photo of that entire area and again be specific. I will tell you that it is impossible to put anything larger than a 110 jib on the front as it is next to impossible. If you want a swivel cam cleat, then take two photos one of which I described above and the other inside the cabin looking at the same area on the ceiling as I am looking for any access in the ceiling liner if any.

no real access to hear liner there is square access if its a 4' by4' that would be generous close to hatch then to the side probably right under the winch

Photo please of inside cabin ceiling liner. It has been some time since I was on the 260. I was very much involved with this boat as a dealer but more than that with Hunter. I just like to have my ducks in a row before I comment as to what I would recommend.

As stated, the raised areas have an aluminum block encapsulated in the fiberglass which is drilled and tapped as noted where the jam cleat is. Inside the cabin are two cover plates one for the port outboard stanchion and the other large square for the winch as it is bolted underneath. What I use to do is to remove the fixed jam cleat and use to install a cam cleat that could lock the sheet line going thru and raising would release it. I found that a shim had to be used so you could pull the line thru and down to lock it down which the manufacturer did make. I believe it was Spinlock but there may be another variation of that by another mft. Later a swivel cam cleat came out which I used for the jib sheet. They are referenced in the archives on this site. OK GUYS, HELP ME OUT AND GIVE THIS FELLOW THE PRECISE MFG. AND SKEW NUMBERS. Not sure if this site sells them but do inquire. I hope this sells.

As for a larger genoa the answer other than the supplied 110 jib lapper is all that you can do and suggest you purchase an a symmetrical spinnaker for lighter airs. I have already stated why earlier.
