I too am interested in installing a hard dodger on my 36. I live in Seattle. We have a company here called Wave Stopper which manufactures and sells them. I do not have any dodger now. There seems to be good and bad things about the hard variety. Most say they are not as good looking as the traditional canvas unit. The hard supporters make much noise about being able to stand on their dodgers. The hard versions are more expensive. Let me know what you decide.
