I have same engine 5432 with 800 hours on it and starts in 10 seconds. If after 30 min run and you start without allowing any time for glow plugs to heat and it starts which it should you have bad glow plugs or wiring prob.
If you have a voltmeter on your engine panel, watch the voltage when you turn on the glow plugs. You should see a slight dip in voltage. If you don't, good chance the glow plugs are done. Glow plugs are cheap. I found them for my Universal for $8 each on Amazon.
Search Kubota glow plugs. I believe they're all the same, pay tractor prices instead of marine prices. Same parts. If Farmers had to pay marine prices for their tractor parts, we'd all have starved to death decades ago. Not that I couldn't stand a little starving.
