Hans 33s are one of the best affordable sailboats out there for offshore cruising. We traveled 2 years/10,000 miles and carried loads of fuel, provisions, and water. This boat has the space of many 38' boats and the sea keeping characteristics that will keep you dry and safe offshore. The boat really shines in 20-40knots of wind so you don't need to be afraid to take her out when the wind is piping up a bit. I've had experienced Alaska commercial fisherman tell me that they never felt as safe offshore in any boat as they did in there Hans 33.
