AS A NEW HUNTER OWNER I AM INTERESTED IN RUNNING THE HALYARDS AFT TO THE COCKPIT, WOULD APPRECIATE ANY SUGGESTIONS AND REFERECES TO SOURCES OF NECESSARY BLOCKS AND CLEATS. ALSO NEED JAM CLEATS FOR JIB SHEETS. THANKS
I am getting ready to do this project as well. There are several posts in the archives that have some good pictures. We changed over our horn cleats for the jib sheets to spinlocks and we really like them. A very nice upgrade. I think they cost $60.00 each and they almost fit in the old holes. I had to drill some but if you position them just right it covers all the holes. They say not to use them with a winch but we just wrap the sheet around the winch and then feed it through the lock. It worked really well all season.We got the ones with a swivel base and then anywhere in the cockpit the angle is good. Enjoy your new boat! Rob Morton S/V Euphoria h23
