Halyard length

I need to replace my main halyard on a 27' daysailor and I need to know what length to buy. Anyone know what is best? I'm planning to buy on-line and do not have access to my current boat/halyard. Thanks.Marc Smith

Which boat is it?

Marc - What boat are we talking about? Halyard length should be about twice the mast length plus ~15% if you tie off at the mast. If your lines come aft then you'll need 2x mast length plus whatever the on deck run is. If you tell us which boat you have we can probably tell you how tall the mat is.Justin - O'day Owners' Web
