Halyard length and mounting rope blocks

I need to replace my main halyard and spinnaker halyard and need to know what the recommended lengths are for a 1984 C-27 tall rig. Also, my "Easylok" halyard clamp broke a lever this past weekend. I suspect it's original equipment, so replacement may be difficult. I tried a Spinnerlock (?) but the holes for the mounting screws don't line up. If I have to redrill holes to mount the new one, what do I use to fill the old holes so as to avoid continuous draining? Thanks for your help

halyard lengths

I haven't measured these myself, but the link at the bottom under c27 diagrams has a jpeg from Catalina. It shows that main halyard for tall is 82ft, and spinnaker is 75 or 78ft. I'm pretty sure that this does NOT take into account running lines to the cockpit. I hope this is helpful.

epoxy

Drill the new holes double the size of the fastener. Tape the undersides so epoxy doesn't run all over your cabin and fill ALL the holes with clear epoxy. You might find that it wicks into the coring - just add more till it doesn't wick away anymore. Make sure that the "wicking" isn't caused by it dripping onto your settee below! After it cures, there may be an indentation or dimple in the hole. Mix up a little more with filler & fair it out till relatively level. Drill the appropriate sized holes and use 3M 4200 (not 5200)liberally on the bolt and around the holes & install. Don't tighten down all the way, just till snug. When cured, have someone hold a screwdriver on the bolt on deck while you tighten the nut below - DO NOT allow the screw to turn as it will break the seal. The 4200 will act as a gasket. Voila, you're done!
