You can also go direct to US Spars as they would have the exact exit plates if the mast is a Z spar/US Spars. However, make sure of that by looking at the sticker on the mast as there were some years Hunter had to switch around on the masts.
Z Spar which is a French company made many masts for years with the biggest buyer of course being Hunter. The owners then thought they could do better by purchasing Kenyon Isomat. Kenyon Isomant laid everyone off and only four of the folks from Z Spar located near Gainsville, FL with the rest laid off were instructed to go to Charlotte to start up opereations there. I waited well for over a half of a year before I got my mast and Hunter was in a pickle. They had no choice but went to Selden Mast in South Charleston which Hunter was very pleased with the performance and quality. However, they had to buy small masts from Charleston Spar, Dwyers and then the new US Spars. US Spars is actually Z Spar product but Z spar left the US with many bening owed which is why you will never see that name, Z Spar, again in this country. As for the four who headed to Charlotte, they were simply following orders but many blamed them which they wanted to keep the operations in Florida which was a prudent choice but the owners thought differently.
