Half Hull Artist for Beneteau 40? Elevation Drawings?

Hello,

I am looking to have a half hull model made for our Beneteau 40 Le Sirene.

First, does anybody recommend an artist or fabricator for those models?

Second, can anybody recommend a place to get some elevations or drawings of my Beneteau 40 to provide the artist?

Don't know if he still does half hulls but call him and see.

Unless you find someone that already has a mold, you are probably looking at an expensive proposition. Might want to look into getting other owners together to put together an order for multiple models. Once the mold is built, pulling several half hulls out of it is sort of an assembly line matter and the expense of building the mold can be spread across the number of models pulled. Just FYI.

Your boat was designed by Berret-Racoupeau. They will send hull lofting diagrams to the bona fide half-hull artist of your choice. After you pick one, have them contact them on your behalf. They'll send the drawings over.
