Looking for anyone who may have experienced similar leaks in aft cabin of H456 and/or recommendations or solutions.
PROBLEM: Water leaking at (2) places, port side aft cabin & unable to pinpoint location. Leaks during moderate rain...unable to duplicate with high pressure hose.
--Leak 1: SS arch mount bolts access panel (not the bolts; this was fixed).
See picture 2, H2O appears to travel from center of boat to port & drips out access panel, inboard side only marked by "x" in photo
--Leak 2: Port side cabin light fixture. H2O is traveling from aft deck down wire bundle & to lowest point in ceiling, which is out the light fixture. Fwd of the fixture is dry.
REPAIRS:
SS Arch was lifted & found extra holes (probably from installation). Glassed all holes, re-bed arch & this stopped bolts leaking
Removed, cleaned, re-bed all (4) hand rails on aft deck
Next step is to pull all port side stanchions but don't see how a leak there from so far outboard would create the water flow where I see it when inspecting with a mirror from access in the shower.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...this keeps me up at night!
Thanks,
Matt
