Does anyone have the specification for thru hulls and seacocks on a ‘96 Hunter 42 Passage

Unaware of any specs. Our 1991 has different types of seacocks. The cockpit drains appear larger than say for the heat pumps. Even the toilet ones seem different from the others. No idea whether the through hulls are all the same. The main engine is different than the Genset.

Why do you pose the question? Any of yours frozen/broken? The PO had to replace three of them as a condition of sale. That was in 2002. All seem to work okay. Must flex them regularly to keep from freezing up.

Show us what you're looking at replacing and we'll have a better idea of what you need.

I have two seacocks that are rusted out, one is stuck open and the other is stuck closed. Boat sat on the hard for 5 years here in Guatemala before we purchased. Replaced hose and clamps but thru hulls and seacocks. All appeared to operate smoothly. They are flexed regularly. This is our first time to replace them. Not a lot of options in Guatemala so I’m ordering replacements.

The through hulls may still be in good condition. You should be able to tell when removing the old seacock.

one is stuck open and the other is stuck closed.
Which ones do you refer? If ordering new, try to get the ones you can lubricate from inside the boat. Some you can remove the handle and install a zerk fitting. Others have a small port that will accept a zerk fitting to lubricate the valve.

Speaking for myself, I have no idea in hell what you are asking of us.

First you say :
one is stuck open and the other is stuck closed.

Then you tell us :
All appeared to operate smoothly. They are flexed regularly.

Which is it ? Two are stuck or they all operate smoothly ? Do you want to replace all of them or only the two frozen ones ?

This is our first time to replace them.
Them what ? The thru-hulls, the cocks, both of them ? Do you have any idea at all what you want to do ? I know it's a lot of effort to get off your duff and take pictures of these thru-hulls but put a little effort into it. I don't know if you're aware of it but poorly maintained thru hulls are a sinking waiting to happen. With those pictures we will be able to offer you a far better idea of what you need.

Help us to help you ! ! !

Also, worth a try before replacing the seacocks. While it is on the hard, squirt some quality penetrating oil up into the seacock from the outside and see if that might loosen things up. May take a few applications while you try to work them loose.
