H41ds steering lube

My 2008 has a Lewmar pedestal. Behind the wheel is a cowling w/ allen head bolts. It didn’t want to come off easily. Is that the best access to add grease? Will I destroy anything by muscling it off? See pic

Have you tried a penetrant oil like PB Blaster to loosen the bolt?

Bolts are loose. Just hoping somebody has been inside that white hub before I pop it off there. I’m sure I can muscle it off. Just not in a hurry. So maybe someone who’s already done it will chime in…(or maybe they’ll tell me I need to pull the Navpod and go in ffom the top. Which would suck)…
