H41 DS access to starboard jib block

Could someone post a pic and/or description re accessing the starboard jib sheet block to re-bed/stop deck leak? It isn’t from the aft stateroom headliner, so I assume I need to remove the plastic alcove that holds the engine gauges. Pic has me pointing to the leaky block & plastic thingy that I’m scared to pry on

Most likely screwed into an aluminum plate which is embedded into the combing

I would look at the port side via the huge generator locker to see how it is attached. If it is just screwed in then remove from the top. If it has nuts on it then you need to pull the instrument box like you have started. I just do not remember how it is attached. My gut is it has nuts on it. There can be a lot of force on the jib sheets.

Nevermind. PO left the tiny corner screws out & bedded it.

I had a leak in the aft cabin on the same boat. I pulled out the alcove and rebedded it.
Cured the problem. Used a utility knife and a thin putty knife to remove the alcove.
