Sheets and sails. Sounds like an ad for Target. There were so many questions in a recent response from Leslie that I decided a new thread was needed. On the subject of cordage I like the "Line Selector" on the New England Ropes site, Related Link. For sheets for the yankee you get a result of 11mm which is really close to 7/16". And that is what I use, NE Sta-Set with green flecks for starboard and red for port. In fact I think that all my lines except the staysail sheet(1/4" red) and staysail halyard(3/8") are 7/16". If I had the money I would always opt for North sails like my main. But when I needed a yankee and North was twice the cost of an offshore sail I went with Lee Sails out of Hong Kong. It is a beautifully crafted sail and they were a delight to work with. I think all of the major lofts including here on HOW have good product. For me it is always a matter of cost.
