I recently saw some Forum articles about replacing faucets. I want to replace the ones on my 37 Cutter, but it is in Mexico and I can't find out what I want from here in Oregon! Does anyone know if a standard faucet with 4" spacing between the water connections will work? Or is a replacement unit available somewhere?

Chuck: You should be able to find some faucets that are for a bar or laundry. I got a Moen or Delta for our galley for about $30. They have 4" centers (like a bath lavatory faucet).

Which faucets?

I have a leaky one in the head. Do you know if it is the same size as the one in the galley? I have the same problem, my boat is Mexico and I think of these problems here on the Forum without being able to be "hands on". Thanks for any advise you've got.

They're both the same standard 4" spacing. Hunter probably got them "off the shelf" from some cheap supplier. RS

Just Replaced Faucet on Hunter 290

I Ordered a faucet from BoatUS that had 4" spacing between the hot and cold water and it fit in fine. The cost was about $37.00 as I recall. But in my case I had already pulled the old faucet out and knew exactly what I needed. s/v wanderlust

Hey, Jake!

Jake, my boat is in San Carlos (Marina Seca), named Quiet Priority. Is your boat also a 37C and is it in Marina Seca? It would be interesting to see what modifications you have made.
