The attached picture illustrates the problem. I was constantly finding water under the galley sink and on the salon sole. Then I discovered that it appeared if I was watching after running the bilge pump. One of you fellow owners mentioned that your thru-hull had cracked. So I opened up that little box in the galley cabinet to take a looksee. Looked good at first glance. The hose goes above the thru-hull and back down in a pretty tight loop. However when I cut the plastic tie the whole thing came away from the hull! The thru-hull was in two pieces. Then I looked at the hose. Full of splits! I cut the barbs off of the thru-hull to make a connector. Ran down to WM(now only a mile away in Huron) and bought a section of hose and the thru-hull. No more leaks. I wonder about the rest of the hose though. And the shower sump, and the scuppers, and the manual bilge pump, and. . . .

good job Ed

Looks just like mine did, i only wish the previous owner would have found it before it ruined the sole!

take a look

If you're in dry storage, sounds like a great time to go around with a magnifying glass and inspect them all on the outside and inside for any visible hairline fractures
