H376 squeaks and scratchy sounds from the headboard area of the master cabin.

Has anyone removed the headboard cushions from an H376, vintage 1997?
I get nasty sounds, at anchor and suspect a tab delamination or a loose screw, or two, that can’t be accessed from normal places.
Thank you sailors.

I had sound like you describe on my 1997 h40.5. I traced them to woodwork that was closely fitted- too closely fitted. I think somebody at the factory was in search of perfection in fit. After locating the tight points, I removed and sanded the areas to provide a small space. That cured the squeaks.

Thank you Rich.
The problem, on my boat, is that I can’t get to the area of the noise. I’ve disassembled shelves in the locker adjacent to the bed, but still have no access to the area of it. Likewise, at the other (stern) side of the headboard I removed the entire upper shelf, in search of access. No luck.
If I can remove the headboard cushions, which are somehow attached to the fiberglass inner liner, I will either have access or will be able to create access, behind the cushions.
the cushions must, somehow, be removable, for future reupholstery.
