Dan & Others Interested, Sorry for being sooo late in posting this info & pics. but I am seriously " computer-challenged " !!! I'll try to attach pics. I have a 1998, H 376 with a "slick- slide" mainsail track. I had trouble raising the Main. I talked w/ Mr. Petengill from Hunter. This is what he told me to do: replace Main Halyard with one that is one size down ( ie: 1/2" to 7/16"; and long enough that it can reach from the mast top to the Mainsail headboard, back up to mast top, then down to deck and back to cockpit Main winch w/ some extra length after @ four wraps. ( usually @ 1-1/2 the length of present Halyard. Have halyard attached to Top of mast, run it down to pass through a single block attached by a shackle to Main headboard, then back up to top and over the mast sheave and down inside mast until it exits. Then thru turnblocks back to main cockpit winch. It helps to have a "slick-slide" sail track. And, relieve pressure of mast-ends of the battens. VOILA !!
Give away the AED unit!! Questions ?? : e-mail Me at: murph243@msn.com Fair Winds & Following Seas..... MRF
