H376 handheld shower help

My 1998 H376 shower hose is always getting kinked up and pinched below the faucet assembly. There is no way to get behind the fiberglass unless I "unscrew" the faucet? I'm afraid to start this project w/o guidance. I'd like to replace the hose. Has anyone done this and can you help?

I could not find the correct replacement hose for mine and had to replace the entire faucet. Not a bad idea for the age of yours as well.

How'd you remove that faucet? There's no way to get behind that fiberglass shower panel. Do I have to cut ANOTHER access panel?

I have an access panel on my 410.
