Would like to add additional holding tank. Thinking of using space in starboard closet in aft cabin and having a stainless steel tank custom made. Any thoughts? Where have you added additional holding tank capacity? Any problems?
They don't always fill at the same rate...and can present major problems getting 'em both empty. Far better to figure out where a larger tank can go...or better yet, learn how not to fill up the one you have with flush water. The article in the Headmistress forum titled something like "flush with success" will help you do that...in fact, if you follow those instructions you can increase your apparent holding tank capacity up to 300%.
