I purchased my H340 about 18 months ago and after I purchased it, the inverter display started reading E06 error. It seems to indicate that there is some sort of output overload. The strange thing is that nothing is on and it still reads that error. About 10 months later, after doing nothing, I tried it again, and it worked fine. Now, all of a sudden, I seem to be getting the same error. Still, nothing is on that would use the inverter and I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why there would be an output overload when there is no output. I have a Xantrax Freedom FX1800. Anyone familiar with this inverter or this issue? Thanks in advance.

Here is a link to a manual for your inverter. Error codes are on page 5-5.

https://www.xantrex.com/documents/I...00 Owner's Guide (975-0390-01-01_Rev-A)-1.pdf

E03 - AC output overload shutdown

Action required
• Reduce the loads connected to the AC outlet of the unit.
• Check appliances that have high-surge ratings and disconnect if necessary.

EO6 - AC output overload warning

Action required
Reduce the loads connected to the AC outlet of the unit.

Good luck

I had this similar issue with my Xantrax Freedom as well. It was original to the boat (2002). One of the relays inside was "sticking" during inversion and basically not switching on. This in turn made the inverter think it was being overloaded, and giving an error. A temporary fix I did was - and i kid you not - slapped the top of the inverter with an open palm. It ended up unsticking the relay, and thus working. It took about a month of that until I got fed up as well as concerned about any type of AC power failure, etc, that I decided to upgrade and get a new Victron charger/inverter.

If this is the case for you that it is a relay, you can send the unit for repair at some authorized dealers. Hope this helps. If not, well, it's one less thing it isnt! Good luck.

Thanks so much. That worked for a bit. I suspect it is similar to what you said. Appreciate the help.
