H340 Furling Line replacement

I have a 1998 H340 and I need to replace the Genoa furling line.
The furling is a Type B Mk11 Seldon. Do I have to disassemble the furling or is there an easy way to get inside and cut the knot on the old line so I can replace it? Any suggestions?
