I have been reading around in the archives about replaceing the h34 windows of which id like to accomplish this winter. Currently I have the plastic frames with the 85', I was curious if anyone out there thinks the aluminum frames are better and if those are available or am I limited to the plastic frame from cal? how do the plastic and aluminum frames compare?

Mike, these are not really frames.

Mike: The later boats really don't have frames but it is actually trim. Mark Plastics in Corona makes replacment widows with a frame. They are much more like the original metal frame. The problem reported with the metal frames is that they crack/break from the boat movement after time.
