H34 Windlass Installation

My dock neighbor with the other H34 in our marina asked if I had any info on how to go about installing a windlass on his H34. The only reference I had was pix of Fred Ficarra's install.

Does anyone have pix or installation description of a windlass installation on an H34 I could add to his reference file?

Dan if you are patient and give me a couple of days, I'll dig into my old computer and find some of the pics I took when I installed my Lewmar 1000.

I read with much interest what you did to instal on your boat. I am curious about the blue water hose that you have coiled inside the anchor locker: how do you have access to water in there? What did you do? I think is the coolest thing I have seen!!!

Thanks Jorge. That is the hose and faucet connected to the wash-down pump. Look on the last pic and you'll see the gray plastic water pipe leading to it from inside the V-berth. I installed a 12V 4.5 GPM pump to a tru-hull, and from it I ran a water pipe with 2 sections: one to the anchor locker and one to a sea-water faucet in the galley sink. It would need to be the subject of another thread if anybody was interested.

Excellent right up. Any estimate on how many hours it would take a boat yard to do this installation?
