Are there only 4 wires for the mast lights? A ground, anchor light, steaming light, and deck light positives. Trying to figure out which wires are left over from old electronics so I can remove them. Thanks!!!!

VHF antenna?
Looking at owner's manual, anchor light is a red 16 gauge, steaming light is a green 16 gauge, ground is a black 16 gauge. I don't see a wire for the deck lamp, but I know it is there !
from attached shot, it looks like there are two grounds and maybe the deck lamp is on a white wire? The wind instrument is on the multi-cables..

The VHF is there but easy to spot. I'm thinking I have 3 extra multi cables. I am replacing the wind instrument so all extra wires can go. I know the boat had Loran at one point.

I'm thinking a multi meter would be the best way to tell if any of the wires have a circuit. Also try applying power (from another wire with a jumper) and see what lights up, or has 12 volts on another disconnected from ground wire.

There are two pair going up my mast- one pair for the steaming light and one pair for the mast head light. One wire to each plug on the 4 plug connector. No common ground. I just checked them yesterday. Only other cable is the antennae coax. I do not have a wind instrument up there.
