Hi, I purchased a H34 1984 with 3gm30f motor. The boat took on some water while on the hard but it reached just below the air cleaner canister. I inserted the mixture through the oil passageways under the valve cover and by the way it looks great under the valve over and no moisture or corrosion, no water in the oil, the alternator is frozen as is the starter. I removed the injectors and poured into each injector chamber a full mixture of 1/2 red transmission fluid with equal part acetone. After a week re filled the chambers. After 2 weeks i attempted to turn the crankshaft and it moved clockwise 10 degrees. i waited 10 minutes and then moved the crankshaft counterclockwise 10 degrees. I filled the injector chambers up with the mixture again and the next day i began to work the crankshaft fully back and forth being careful to not muscle it past a frozen point but gently until it went completely 360 degrees and after 10 minutes i was able rotate the pulley 360 degrees by hand. My question now how do i get the mixture of fluid out of the cavity between the pistons and the injector tips when i try to start the engine, Assuming the mixture that i cannot get out of the chambers by rotating the engine will make it nearly impossible for the diesel fuel to become combustible? I appreciate any and all thoughts what i should do from here before i attempt to start the motor. Other than change the oil, polish the fuel and change all fuel lines and filters.
