After many hours studying different 12 volt systems for boats and many hours of studying the existing 12 volt system on my 1990 Hunter 335, I have finally come up with a system that, I think, will work for my sailing habits. My boat is out on a mooring year-round and I generally day-sail a couple of times a week. On occasion, we do make a long weekend cruise up and down the Southeast Florida coast, and maybe once a year, a trip to the Bahamas for a week or more. I am posting an image of the AutoCAD drawing I created, so others can see what I have in mind. I don't even come close to being an electrical engineer, so, if anybody who has a greater knowledge than me can provide some suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
