I thought that they were like a kit boat. They had a keel, hull and cabin, but need to be finished on the inside. Not to sure about this, but we had one in our marina.

There is one a few boats down from me at the marina.. I was in the yard back in 1978 when they unloaded her from the truck (they were unloading my little Spirit 23 also) a really nice boat.. A sailing buddy of mine bought her around 1987 and has had her ever since.. She sails really well and we've had many memorable coastal passages on her.. The old 2 QM engine still fires right up.. She is a fine boat..

Wow, does that ever look familiar, as you can see from the attached picture. I've owned HUN60002M77E-33 for about 4 years now, great boat, i've had lots of fun with it. I know little about these boats and will watch with interests for further posts.

The first H33 as drawn by JC was a bubble deck, twin spreader rigged racing boat. Hunter redesigned the deck after the first few boats were produced. The "Quest" boats were kit boats briefly produced by Hunter in the early eighties. They included the 30, 33,(later deck version) and the 36. As far as I know, all the bubble deck (or flush deck) boats were built by Hunter as complete boats. These also included the early 25's.
