I must have confused the question before. I do have as Sam Lust and pics show (a shoal draft keel) My problem is now that I want to build a trailer and am not positive where the foot print of the keel is compared to mast in a side view. I can then extrapolate exactly where to put things before I bring the boat out of the water. Thanks Porter

Is it necessary to be exact?

On the cradle for my H37C the keel rests on a longitudinal 2"x12" board that is eight feet long. It could just as easily be twelve feet long. In other words it really wouldn't matter how forward or aft the keel is, the support is there. There are two 2"x6" steel channel irons(on edge) that run the length of the cradle, each one six inches off center. Then there are 2"x4" channels welded between these every two feet. The 2"x12" rests on these and the entire weight of the boat(18000#) is supported by that.
