I was looking through the store here for a bimini top for my 79 H30 and found a pre-made one for the H33 for $930 but none listed for the H30. Just wondering if anyone knows if the cockpit dimensions are pretty close to make a H33 work. If I plug in the numbers on the "custom" page, the darn thing is about $400 more than the H33.

one more thing. I would suggest one inch stainless for the bows. You will want to be able to stand up at the helm to drive the boat. Check out this site for parts for the stainless tube. http://store.marinepartdepot.com/

You may want to raise your boom which on my boat was accomplished by drilling a new hole on the mast slide.

Very nice Ian. Any issues grinding your winches when bimini and/or dodger is up? I have been considering a rail mount bimini. Funds don't allow a dodger at this point. I just measured my cockpit for a custom rail mount and it was cheaper than I originally thought. About $1100 but the shipping is outrageous. Prolly because the tubes are bent from one piece instead of joined together like cheaper versions.

No problem sailing with the bimini in the open position. I did have to have a window cut into it to see the windex.
